CSRI researchers participate in the Neuromorphic Engineering Workshop in Colorado with the CogRob team! Along with Prof. Yiannis Aloimonos (University of Maryland), Dr Cornelia Fermueller (University of Maryland) and Prof. Andreas Andreou (John Hopkins University), the team demonstrates live the first robotic application that combines visual and auditory perception, as well as language-based embodied reasoning for action understanding! Katerina Pastra and Eirini Balta were invited to join forces with the compuater vision and audition groups bringing cognitive language processing and reasoning skills to the active robot interpreter.
