The European Network on Vision and Language Integration organises a workshop on the topic, as part of the prestigious 2016 conference of the Association of Computational Linguistics. This is the 5th in a series of workshops on Vision and Language, and is particularly focussed on the integrated modeling of visual and language processing. The workshop welcomes papers describing original research combining language and vision. To encourage the sharing of novel and emerging ideas, it also welcomes papers describing new data sets, grand challenges, open problems, benchmarks and work in progress as well as survey papers.
